Artist Hanna Melin (Born in 1978) was born in Sweden. She now works and lives in East London as a maker and illustrator. She graduated in 2004 from the Royal College of Art, London. This is after she had finished an MA in Visual Communication. She sells her "Memories" prints and "Banana man" badges in online shops and galleries throughout the world. Hanna enjoys doing little drawings, that later becomes bedding or T-shirt designs, wrapping paper or mugs. All items in her shops are available for wholesale. Her clients include The Guardian, Nokia, The NY Times, Aviva, Halifax, Volkswagen, Louis Vuitton and PC World. Badges, Tea towels, canvas bags, necklaces, oyster card holders, art, prints, and brooches are among the things she deals in. Her recent collection includes bags and mugs made for interior change Cibone, Japan.

She also has her own T-shirt range. In 2009, Hanna exhibited her one-person show at gallery 7 dubbed "Staycation". Her recent clients are very much enthusiastic about her new pieces of artwork. In her work Hanna uses a lot of embroidery and sewing, as well as drawings. It is important for her to combine different materials in the process of communicating. She was taught by her grandmother to do cross-stitching when she was just 4 years old; they had sewing meetings once every week. Hanna feels like she’s keeping a bit of her grandmother in her when she uses thread and needle. Her art are used to adorn the walls of some of the most prestigious buildings in the world.
