Charlene Audrey was born in Syracuse, NY. She began her artistic journey at a very young age. Her love for art was sparked by the remarkable countryside that surrounded the Eastern Township of Québec where she was raised. Charlene’s passion for art grew over the years and this passion has led her to a brilliant creative career. Her work is greatly inspired by decorative art, modern and vintage motifs, and her love of life and nature. She composes her work through the utilization of the energy of acrylics and the skillful use of the graceful transparency of watercolors. She embraces traditional techniques and flirts with new ones as well. With a skillful artistic flair, her enthusiasm for her artwork comes to life in her paintings.
Charlene first worked with Imperial Home Décor Group as a designer, and then expanded her horizons as a graphic designer and a freelance illustrator. In 2003, Charlene Audrey teamed up with the creative and licensing studio, PELA Concept and began making a name for herself in the licensing world. She is today represented by Suzanne Cruise of the Suzanne Cruise Creative Services, Inc. Driven by a great passion for art and the environment, Charlene exhibits her talents in various fields. She founded the first underwater art gallery in Canada (Aquart) where she began painting underwater! Charlene lives and works from her countryside home. During her free time, she takes great pleasure in taking care of her long-time companion, Luka and her beautiful daughter, Danaele.
