Georgia Janisse is an American fine art artist who grew up in Newport Beach, California. Being a daughter to two accomplished artists, her passion for painting is understandable. When making her artwork, she focuses on injecting calmness on every piece. Georgia enjoys painting landscapes that also have people in them. She uses natural colors and a realistic style to create her paintings, ensuring that every detail is properly captured. Owing to her long time belief that artists normally say something about themselves through their art, Georgia always looks for that beautiful thing in her to share through her artistic creations. As such, she creates artwork on canvas in a manner that gives viewers a refreshing mental adventure to beautiful landscapes. Having mastered oil painting throughout her experience, she continues to use oil paint as her primary medium.
Georgia currently lives in Florida coast together with her husband Dennis. They have traveled to different parts of the world, including Nicaragua, South Sudan, and South Korea. She always carries the things she may need to create art during her travels. While her husband is teaching Bible lessons in colleges and churches during such travels, she takes her own moment to paint. At times she opts to generously share her artistic knowledge with children. Georgia gives every buyer of her original work a card with the words "peaceful, calm, serene oil paintings and “My greatest teacher is the Creator Himself, from who I receive both my inspiration and my ability.” She creates her artwork and sells them in different festivals. She also sells her prints through Penny Lane Publishing. Her works have been exhibited on different platforms in the US both nationally and internationally.
