Born and raised in Sweden, Fredrik Norrsell is a wilderness guide and an outdoor educator. He has participated in world wide expeditions. From the temperate rainforest of Patagonia to the great glaciers of Alaska, he captures images of the world’s wildest places. Everywhere he goes, including right at his home, he strives to capture the diversity and beauty of the natural world. Norrsell’s hope is to capture and preserve these wild places so that even the future generations can enjoy the same sense of wonder and exploration as we enjoy today. His work has been published by Utemagasinet, Camera Natura, Villmarksliv, BioFoto, Alaska Conservation Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, as well as publications by Crossing Latitudes and the National Outdoor Leadership School. He is also represented by Danita Delimont, a leading Stock Photography agency that accommodates leading photographers from around the world.
He’s frequently out on some expedition adventure in remote corners of the world. He says that believe it or not, there are still places without wireless internet or cell phone coverage. Time being connected to nature is more important to him than a connection to the internet. Norrsell has managed to draw a huge following of fans from all corners of the world and he has become a much sought after photographer. His art currently adorns the walls of many esteemed clients including celebrities. Many people love his art, more so those who are also interested in conservation of nature. He’s always available for commission work and other assignments.
