Greg Johnston is a travel and lifestyle photographer and an author born and raised in Canada. He began his visual journey more than 3 decades ago as one of the few of travel photographers trotting the globe. The artist is known for his dynamic lifestyle and travel imagery. This Florida based shooter is primarily a location photographer. He travels extensively photographing travel destinations, marine life and landscapes for a variety of national editorial, tourism and advertising clients. His photography has won many awards among them the "Travel Photographer of the Year Award.” He’s a former contributing editor to Islands Magazine and Caribbean Travel & Life magazine, and his experience led him to a staff position as Travel Editor at World Publications.
From editorial to advertising, Johnston’s quest for capturing the essence of some of the most exotic destinations in the world has allowed him to work successfully in a wide range of disciplines – including fine art, environmental and travel, landscape art. His spontaneity and quick wit, and easy-going manner allow for a liberal measure of adventure that pours from his images. Johnston has produced numerous covers for travel books worldwide and has published 12 destination books. His works, including both stock and assignments, have been featured in national and international advertising campaigns. He’s represented by Danita Delimont stock agency and his art has graced the pages of every major adventure, travel and scuba diving publication. His art has found its way into many galleries, collections and museums all over the world.
