Shiva (Born 1975) was born in Iran. He spent his childhood in Iran but later moved to Vienna, Australia when he was 18. He entered the Vienna Univesity ot Technology (The Technische Universitaet) to study Fine Arts and Architecture and graduated as a Master of Science (a Diplomingenieur) in 1974. Before then In the meantime, Shiva was an Assistant to Professor Rudolf at the Institute for Drawing and Painting. He became fascinated with drawing and painting while he was studying architecture. As a result, he started serious painting and later he chose this as his ultimate career to satisfy his vast and profound spirit of art and humanity. Shiva’s art has been admired by the media in the United States of America, Iran, and Europe, and he has exhibited his poetic pictorial creations worldwide. He incorporates spirit and life into his masterpieces.
His paintings, composed of geometric and organic elements, are breathtaking, enchanting, illuminating, and inspiring. Shiva’s art is unique because he is able to create a realistic atmosphere. He does this by choosing the magnificent site of civilization and culture, Isfahan, or the bustling bazaar in Istanbul, or the marshy cotton grass meadows of Rauchwart, or the old trees of the land of poetry, Shiraz. Shiva searches out mysteries and observes beauty and life around him; he follows the rules of nature in all his works. His impressions are always characterized by his deep and loving appreciation of nature. His aim is to attain a better and more perceptive insight. His paintings are realistic, optimistic, and naturalistic having the scents of solidarity, unity, prosperity and humanity.
