Noble Richardson was born on the island of Maui in Wailuku. His fascination with art can be traced back to a moment when father drew the profile of a Godzilla toy onto a piece of paper. Seeing a dinosaur invading cityscape on his preschool chalkboard and a caterpillar instead of rows of quarters overlapping each other, he could recollect countless numbers of first time artistic moments. His passion stemmed in elementary classes on from art enrichment to exaggerated book report covers in intermediate. At one point after a high school summer basketball practice Richardson decided that no elective class he could enroll in would be better than Mrs. Sato’s Art class. From this point on his thirst for artistic knowledge became a world in his life that allowed him to escape reality and enter a realm of colors and shapes; values and lines; landscapes and figures.

Mrs. Sato trained them at a college level, and it’s because of her they won a lot of national, congressional, and state awards. Her training also helped them to move onto professional careers and college careers. Due to his football career, Richardson bounded around to different colleges after high school, but when he finally settled at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he finished his educational endeavor with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree under the teachings of Marry Warner, Jose Believer, Stephen Hendee, and Robert Wysoki. After graduating from college Richardson entered the Schaefer Portrait Challenge (2009) and won the Marian Freeman People’s Choice Award.
