Rick Brown is a Photographer who specializes in Commercial and Editorial Photography. He works in the editorial and commercial fields and has won many awards. His work has been featured in many magazines including Outdoor Photographer, WildBird and National Wildlife. Currently, he’s represented by Danita Delimont Stock Photography. He lives in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest and holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina. His photography specializes in lifestyles, portraits and aviation. He works increasingly with products, portraits and other commercial work. Since 2013, Brown has been the Owner/Operator of RAB Imaging. He has been a Contributing Photographer for Danita Delimont Stock Photography since March, 2010. Brown is a photographer who appreciates and understands the defined moment, but has sought to reach beyond the limits of documentation.
He sees his surroundings as source of material for his art. This has given him a sense of empowerment and freedom that continue to inspire him. He says that there’s a place within each person that holds the hope that they may hear for even a few moments, a chorus or a chord of that which has inspired sculptors, painters, musicians, poets, photographers and writers to reach beyond themselves. The unique variations of light and vast color combinations found in the natural landscape, together with the wide variety of choices in compound camera motion provide him with an exciting challenge. The camera has been a part of him for a large part of his adult life and has taken him on a wonderful ride.
